The Southeastern Amateur is a top-level amateur golf tournament with a rich history dating back to 1922 - when the tournament was created by Fred Haskins. Each year, the Southeastern Amateur has the great honor of hosting many of the nations top amateur golfers, from Division I NCAA National Champions to the nations top Mid-Amateurs.

*Tournament Rounds will begin at 7:30 a.m. off the 1st tee until 12:00 p.m.in 10 minute intervals.

96th SOUTHEASTERN AMATEUR TOURNAMENT presented by AFLAC

Player Registration: Will be held in the Haskins Room (located in the main clubhouse) on Wednesday, June 25th from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm. 

Housing: A limited number of private housing opportunities will be available to players. Once accepted, players will have the opportunity to request private housing.

Practice Rounds: Practice rounds are available on a first-come, first-serve basis on Wednesday, June 25th, after 9:00 a.m. No practice round starting times will be reserved in advance. Players are reminded that only one ball may be played from the teeing grounds during practice rounds, and players must play from the markers as they are found on the course. Players may walk or ride in the practice round. Cart fees for the practice round will be $28 +tax.

Starting Times: Thursday and Friday starting times will be posted at www.southeasternamateur.com on Wednesday, June 25th by 11:00 am. Starting times for Saturday’s final round will be posted one hour after the completion of play on Friday.  

Format: The format is 54 holes of stroke play without a cut.

Prizes: The winner of the 96th Southeastern Amateur will earn an exemption into the 2026 Jones Cup Invitational. Gift certificates will be awarded to the top 15 finishers and ties, as well as an exemption into the 97th Southeastern Amateur Tournament. 

Automotive Transportation: Automotive transportation is not allowed during tournament rounds. Caddies and/or push carts are allowed, but are not provided.

Spectator Carts: Spectator carts will only be allowed for persons with government issued Handicap cards. Handicap carts will be first come first served and are $40.00 +tax per round. Please see the Golf Shop if you are in need of a Handicap Cart. ALL HANDICAP CARTS must remain on the CART PATH at all times during the round.

Dress Code: Proper golf attire will be required. All players must have a shirt with a collar, and if shorts are worn they should be of bermuda length. Cargo shorts are not allowed. Shirts must remain tucked in and hats are to be worn properly.

Practice Areas: The driving range and short game practice areas will open one hour prior to the first starting time. The driving range will close promptly at 6:00pm

Club Amenities: The Halfway House will be open for participants and their families on a cash/credit card basis. 

Announcement: During this event, there will be NO public address system used to call players to the tee. All players are advised to check in with the starter at their assigned tee (ready to play) at least 10 minutes prior to their assigned time. 

Withdrawals: Players that withdraw from the tournament prior to June 11, 2025 will be refunded $325. If you withdraw after June 11, 2025, you will not be refunded your entry fee.

Unbecoming Conduct: Unbecoming conduct is, but not limited to: profanity, throwing equipment in anger, destruction of club property, vulgar or physical abuse to any person. A player who is in violation may receive one warning from a specified official. A second violation will result in disqualification of the player.

Pace of Play Policy: The Southeastern Amateur Pace of Play Policy is in effect for the duration of the 96th Southeastern Amateur Tournament.  The SE AM Pace of Play Policy will be strictly enforced throughout the event.
